  • Further components of a refrigeration cycle
  • Refrigerants and lubricants 
    • Designation, classification and properties of refrigerants 
    • Environmental impact of refrigerants (ODP and GWP)
    • Regulation EU 2024/573 (F-Gas Regulation)

 

Objectives

  • Deepening the basics of refrigeration technology
  • Learn about the structure and function of additional components of the refrigeration cycle in heat pumps, refrigeration and air conditioning systems 
  • Gaining information on the current refrigerant situation with regard to the environmental impacts

 

Procedure, organizational details

The event will be held as a live-online-training with Teams. Participants need internet access and a microphone. A webcam is desired. Questions to the speaker can be asked directly via chat function and microphone or afterwards via e-mail. The course documents are provided as pdf.

 

Requirements 

Knowledge of refrigeration technology is required (see ORBB)
